Calvert Reward Fund Reaches $65,000!

Fundraising efforts by friends and family of Elizabeth and John Calvert have pushed the Calvert Reward Fund to over $65,000. Bolstered by a recent successful fundraiser – Cruise for the Calverts – the Cruise generated an additional $17,000 in funds through ticket sales and a silent auction.

The current $65,000 reward is available to any person(s), including Private Investigators, who come forward with information leading directly to the whereabouts and safe return of Elizabeth and John Calvert, or the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for their disappearance.

Elizabeth and John Calvert have been missing since March 3, 2008. The couple was last seen in the Harbour Town area of Sea Pines Plantation, Hilton Head Island, South Carolina where they both live and work. Elizabeth Calvert is prominent attorney at a large Savannah law firm, and John Calvert is the President of several businesses located in Harbour Town. They have a part-time residence in Atlanta, GA.

According to one family member, “We are all dying inside. We are desperate for leads that will help us find Liz and John. If you know anything, anything at all, please call the Beaufort Count Sheriff’s Office. If you are a private investigator, please take up this cause. Please help us bring them back.”

John Calvert Liz Calvert

My name is David White, and I am Liz’s brother and John’s brother-in-law. Liz and John have been missing persons since March 3, 2008. Information from the authorities regarding the investigation and/or their whereabouts has been limited. It is like they disappeared with no trace whatsoever. And that just cannot be. So many friends, family, and neighbors of Liz and John have said they are frustrated about standing idly by as time goes on, and have asked me about what they can do. This is it my friends. This is our chance to do something to help find Liz and John, and bring them back to us – unharmed if that could possibly be.

We have created a reward fund for information leading to their whereabouts or the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for their disappearance. You are on this website because you are a concerned friend, family, or neighbor to Liz and John. And I am asking you now to consider donating any amount of money you are comfortable with to this reward fund whose sole existence and purpose is to do something to find Liz and John.

We pray the reward fund will be enough to incent someone or some people to come forward with information leading us to Liz and John. By design, all leads will go directly to SSgt. Angela Veins from the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office at 843-524-2777. They said they want leads, so let’s give them leads.

The name of the fund is the Calvert Reward Fund, LLC. And as more dollars come in over time, we will continue to issue press releases with the new amounts.

So please, send your donations to (and checks made payable to):

Calvert Reward Fund, LLC
P.O. Box 3309
Hilton Head Island, SC 29928

If you have any questions for me, or any pictures of Liz and John you would like to post on the website, you can reach me at info@CalvertRewardFund.com.

We can increase the reward fund size by networking together. So please forward this donation request to your circle of friends and neighbors who know Liz and John and who may want to help.

Thank you very much for your consideration. Let’s pray we can bring Liz and John back home to all of us, safe and sound.
